Commonsense Safety Training specialises in providing our customers better training for a safer work zone. We combine many years of research, experience and government policy with new approaches and skills to provide a fresh, progressive direction in the education of the traffic control industry.

Our traffic management courses and traffic control courses are designed to be delivered to candidates with logical efficiency and in a manner which is easy to comprehend.

From 1st July 2015, Roads and Maritime Services NSW (RMS) introduced a nationally recognised competency based framework into their suite of training courses for traffic control. The changes means the previous 4 level structure (Blue, Yellow, Red, & Orange) tickets have been replaced with 3 levels as shown below:

RIISS00041 – Implement Traffic Control Plans Skills Set – formerly known as Apply Traffic Control Plans (Yellow card)

RIISS00044 – Traffic Controller Skill Set – formerly known as Traffic Controller (Blue Card

RIISS00045 – Work Zone Traffic Control Guidance Plan Developer Skill Set – formerly known as (Red card) and  (Orange card)
