This qualification is for those who want to become qualified to control traffic on a road site using a stop/slow bat, portable traffic signals or similar traffic control devices.
- Face to face workshop with qualified trainers.
- Large training room with individual desks and social distancing minimum of 4 sq metres per person.
- Our all-inclusive cost includes the classroom event and the live road assessment fee. NO EXTRA TO PAY!
- Courses are run in 3 convenient locations, Blacktown, Marrickville or Central Coast.
- Receive your SafeWork NSW Statement of Completion (SOC) certificate which allows you to work in the Traffic Control Industry immediately.
- Price includes the final assessment which will be conducted in a live road environment. (Some companies charge up to $60 extra for this assessment)
- Please wear long pants, long sleeve shirt and closed shoes (preferable hard caps).
- We can provide high-vis personal protective equipment for use on the day.

This training program includes the following nationally recognised skill sets:
Awards Issued
Students who successfully complete this nationally recognised training will be awarded:
- A SafeWork NSW Statement of Completion (SOC) certificate which allows them to work in the Traffic Control Industry immediately whilst waiting for final assessment which will be conducted in a live environment
- Students who successfully complete the live assessment will be awarded the statement of attainment which we will submit to SafeWork NSW in order for participant to receive their SafeWork NSW training card (which will be mailed by SafeWork NSW)
Requirements
- Applicants must be 17 years of age or over
- 100 Points of ID is required by SafeWork NSW – Photo ID requirements example
- Before enrolling all candidates must have a Unique Student Identifier number (USI) (If you don’t have one, Create USI here )
- An appropriate understanding of both written and spoken English
