Commonsense Safety Training is approved by SafeWork NSW and accredited by Australian Skills and Quality Authority (ASQA) to deliver and assess this qualification.
Commonsense Safety Training is a Nationally Recognised Registered Training Organisation (RTO No. 41347).
There are no formal entry requirements for this course but the skill requirements that state that basic understanding, reading and writing of English is required to be able to complete assessments.
The use of interpreters is not allowed.
The White Card trainer/assessor reserves the right to refuse entry to the class to any student if in the opinion of the trainer/assessor the trainee displays a lack of English comprehension when entering the classroom.
The assessment methods used during this one-day workshop include practical tasks, written and oral questions, review of documents and role-play.
Participants must provide 100 points of evidence to prove their identity before being able to attend the course.
Please note that non-Australian Driver’s Licences are not accepted.
A Statement of Attainment cannot be issued if participants are unable to provide valid forms of I.D.
Once assessment tasks have been submitted, they will then be assessed. Commonsense Safety Training will ensure that the Statement of Training (SOT) will be issued on the day of successful completion.
All students undertaking nationally recognised training require a Unique Student Identifier (USI).
All requests for a refund must be made in writing to Commonsense Safety Training outlining the reasons for reimbursement. All cancellations in writing more than 72 business hours prior to the commencement of the unit will be eligible for a full refund. If a course is cancelled by Commonsense Safety Training the fees will be refunded or an alternative course schedule can be negotiated with the client. Once a course has commenced fees are non-refundable unless the client states exceptional circumstances and can provide a medical certificate or show extreme personal hardship.
In this case fees may be refunded but would be on a case by case basis minus an administrative fee of $20.
If a client withdraws from a unit after the commencement of the unit, no refund of training program fees will be paid. If a client fails to attend the unit they have enrolled in, no refund of fees will be paid.
